SUP STOCKIES!!!!!
Well, it's been awhile hasn't it? How was your Thanksgiving? Eat alot of turkey? How is that goiter doing?
We come bearing exciting news and unfortunatly sad tidings...
This Saturday, Dec 10th at 10:30 pm at Coffee Underground will be our last show of the year... but also the last show for one of our long standing members, Ms Caroline Davis. It's been a long a great ride with Caroline and we can say, without hesitation, she was the best red-headed female member in our group since she joined(we kid because we love), but seriously folks, Caroline is parting ways with the group amicably as she has to devote more time to her learnin and future and junk, but boy she will be leaving a void.
Caroline came into the group by way of an open rehearsal and as soon as she did, we knew she'd be a great fit. Her wit, charm and character ability have served us well over the years. She's had so many great moments, but we recall just a couple, such as one of the funniest three lines scenes we've ever had involving a married couple, a raft and tacos... not to mention a so-wrong-its hysterical version of deaf replay. Caroline Davis...you will be missed, we hope to play with you again somewhere down the road.
Also, we have recently been informed of a friend who needs our help. Local actor and all around cool guy Matthew Merritt has an urgent financial need and you can help! All proceeds from saturdays show are going to help Matthew deal with an urgent money matter, so not only can you come bid caroline a fond adieu, but you can help someone in the process! Hazzah! If you would like to donate extra, please feel free to contact The Warehouse Theatre. We would also like to let you know that Warehouse's resident improv troupe, Distracted Globe is doing shows Friday and Saturday to help out as well. The power of improv in the upstate cannot be denied! Double-Hazzah!
So come on out and help us say goodbye to our beloved Caroline, say hello to a new phase of the group and say happy holidays to the world(excluding the people who suck).
P.S.-if you can think of any other great CD moments, comment! We'd love to hear from you!
